Astride the busy A418 between Thame and the M40 and crossed by the Oxfordshire Way, Tiddington, mentioned in the Domesday book, has a number of cottages dating from the 16th to 18th centuries and a long established pub. The Parish Church is at Albury. SInce 1945 the village has grown steadily with social and estate housing developments and there is a thriving caravan retail business. A village hall was built by villagers in 1953 to celebrate the coronation of Queen Elizabeeth II, and the recreation ground has a popular play area built at the turn of the millenium.
