An attractive village, Tetsworth is now bypassed by the M40 so that its High Street has regained a measure of tranquillity. Old houses are numerous. Both the Red Lion, which pre-dates 1838, and the 14th century Swan Inn still exist and serve customers, but the Swan is now an antiques centre with a restaurant and bar.
