Ipsden is set in lovely countryside at the edge of the Chiltern hills. Its
beech woods, and many footpaths, bridleways and green roads are greatly
enjoyed by ramblers and riders. Visit Well Place Zoo, the start of three of the
'Chilterns Country Walks' which take you around the village to see its notable
buildings. These include the longest barn in England, the old grain store, 13th Century Church, Ipsden House and the Old Vicarage. You may recognise
settings used in Midsomer Murders. After a busy day, enjoy the King William's
fare and its dramatic views.
