Description
Footpath maintenance work to replace the existing asphalt surface and install new footpath edgings and kerbs. Replace missing cobbles and brick channel details removing the temporary asphalt or concrete patches. Improve drainage and ensure new asphalt surface falls away from the adjacent buildings and provide better ventilation into the buildings air bricks by installing a shingle margin off of the face of the cottages. Conditions / Refusal Reasons
The works hereby permitted shall be begun not later than three years from the date of this consent.
Reason: To comply with the provisions of section 18(1) of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 as amended by section 51 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004.
That the works hereby approved shall be carried out in accordance with the details shown on the following approved plans, LOC 001, OP1 001, OP1 002 and HSD-1100-005, except as controlled or modified by conditions of this consent.
Reason: To secure the proper planning of the historic environment in accordance with Development Plan policies.
No works shall take place until details of all materials to be used in the external construction and finishes of the development hereby permitted has been first submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority.
Reason: To safeguard the special architectural or historic interest of the listed building in accordance with Policies ENV6 and ENV7 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2035.
