Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 5th August 2025
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
Due to its prominent location, the proposed wall would result in an intrusive and incongruous form of development that fails to respect the established layout, character and appearance of the surrounding area. The alteration would detract from the spacious and landscaped qualities that contribute positively to the character of the locality. As such, the development would be contrary to Policies DES1 and DES2 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan and Policy CPQ1 of the Thame Neighbourhood Plan.
