Conditions / Refusal Reasons
The works hereby permitted shall be begun not later than three years from the date of this consent.
Reason: To comply with the provisions of section 18(1) of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 as amended by section 51 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004.
That the works hereby approved shall be carried out in accordance with the details shown on the following approved plans, C253 02, C253 01B, C253 13A and C253 410A, except as controlled or modified by conditions of this consent.
Reason: To secure the proper planning of the historic environment in accordance with Development Plan policies.
Prior to the commencement of the relevant works, the submission of joinery details with a detailed specification of their type, design and external finish for any new or altered windows shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Thereafter the works shall be carried out in accordance with the approved details.
Reason: To safeguard the special architectural or historic interest of the listed building in accordance with Policy ENV7 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2035.
Prior to the commencement of works of repair (following the removal of render and modern finishes to carriageway), a historic building record shall be undertaken to a level and scope to be agreed with the Local Planning Authority in advance.
This will be in accordance with Historic England 'A Guide to Good Recording Practice'.
This shall be submitted to the Local Planning Authority. and agreed in writing prior to commencement of any subsequent works to these areas.
Reason: As the building is of archaeological/historic importance in accordance with Policy ENV6 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2035.
Prior to the commencement of works of repair or alteration (following the removal of render and modern finishes to carriageway), a schedule of repair shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority in writing. This will include method statements, material specifications and scale drawings as appropriate. Thereafter the works shall be carried out in accordance with the approved details.
Reason: To safeguard the special architectural or historic interest of the listed building in accordance with Policy ENV7 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2035.
Prior to the commencement of the relevant works, the paint colour and finish to the front elevation walls and windows shall be submitted to the Local Planning Authority and approved in writing. Thereafter the works shall be carried out in accordance with the approved details.
Reason: To safeguard the special architectural or historic interest of the listed building in accordance with Policy ENV7 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2035.
