Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 8th May 2025
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That, the proposed new access onto Coach Way would be detrimental to the safety and convenience of users of the public highway due to inadequate visibility at the access and would result in an intensification of the use of Coach Way and a public footpath (125/25/10) which is narrow with no street lighting and does not benefit from a pedestrian footway with pedestrians forced to walk in the carriageway. Any increase in vehicle movements could result in pedestrian/vehicle conflict and potential pedestrian safety issues and is contrary to Policy TRANS5 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2035.
