Having regard to the positioning of the air source heat pump being in close proximity to the neighbouring property's first floor bedroom windows and the absence of any acoustic enclosure, the proposal would have a detrimental impact on neighbouring amenity in terms of being considered a nuisance and disturbance. As such, the proposed development would be contrary to Policies EP1, DES6, and H20 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2035, the National Planning Policy Framework and advice contained within the Joint Design Guide 2022.
