Conditions / Refusal Reasons
Due to its design, form and siting the development represents an incongruous and inappropriate form of development within a visually sensitive countryside location which fails to respond positively to the rural character and setting of the area and does not conserve or enhance the landscape or the scenic beauty of the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The development fails to adhere to Policies STRAT1, ENV1, DES1 and DES2 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan and the provisions of the National Planning Policy Framework and Section 85 of the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000.
