As such, the proposed development would be contrary to Policies DES1, DES2, and ENV1 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2035, the advice in the South Oxfordshire Design Guide and the National Planning Policy Framework and Policy RD1 of the Sonning Common Neighbourhood Plan 2023.
