Conditions / Refusal Reasons
The works are considered lawful and do not require authorisation as per Section 7 of the Planning (Listed Building and Conservation Areas) Act 1990.

The existing mortar must only be removed using hand tools and if at any time the brick work is being damaged by the removal of the cementitious mortar such that bricks may require replacement then works must stop immediately as this would go beyond the remit of the lawful works the subject of this application. Replacement of brickwork is not authorised by this lawful development application.
