Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 21st July 2023
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
The proposed alterations to the existing hipped roof would disturb the symmetry of the pair of semi-detached properties and fail to conserve a notable design trait of dwellings located in the Clifton Hampden Conservation Area. The proposed development would lead to less than substantial harm to the character of the Clifton Hampden Conservation Area and provides no recognised public or heritage benefit to outweigh the identified harm. As such the development conflicts with Paragraph 202 of the NPPF and Policies ENV6 and ENV8 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2035.
