Decision
Refusal of Consent to Display an Advertisement on 16th June 2023
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
By virtue of the number of illuminated poster displays, pixel screen display and the proposed aluminium fascia sign, the proposal would be contrary to the traditional shop front guide and would represent unsympathetic advertisements within the Henley Main conservation area causing harm to the visual amenity of the area. The proposal is contrary to policies DES1, DES2 and ENV8 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2035 and Policy SD3 of the Joint Henley and Harpsden Neighbourhood Plan 2035.
