Prior to the commencement of works to the listed Well House, details, including drawings as necessary, of the proposed glass cover to the well, to include details for the method of installation, and the specification of the covering, sealing and ventilation of the well opening, shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Thereafter the works to the Well House shall be carried out in complete accordance with the approved details. Reason: To safeguard the special architectural or historic interest of the listed building in accordance with Policy ENV7 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2035.

Sample materials in respect of the following shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before the relevant part of the work has begun: a. Well House b. Barn (to include details of thatch, which should be Long Straw or Combed Wheat) c. Building A d. Building B e. Building C Thereafter the works shall be carried out in complete accordance with the approved details. Reason: To safeguard the special architectural or historic interest of the listed buildings in accordance with Policy ENV7 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2035.

The works to the Grade II* Well House necessary for the building to be removed from the 'Heritage at Risk Register' and detailed in the 'Wick Farm - Well House - Schedule of Works (Purcell, V1.0 dated Nov 22)' hereby approved shall be completed within one year of the date of the implementation of this consent. Within three months of the completion of the works, a compliance report demonstrating that the works have been carried out sufficiently to satisfy Historic England that the building can be removed from the 'Heritage at Risk Register' shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Reason: To preserve the historic significance, character and special interest of this Grade II* Listed Building (Policy ENV7 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan and the provisions of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 and the National Planning Policy Framework).
