Conditions / Refusal Reasons
The works hereby permitted shall be begun not later than three years from the date of this consent. Reason: To comply with the provisions of section 18(1) of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 as amended by section 51 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004.

That the works hereby approved shall be carried out in accordance with the details shown on the following approved plans, SA-11-002 Rev A, SA-11-001 Rev B, SA-11-010 Rev G, CME001, SA-11-003, OP1001 and OP1001 Rev A, except as controlled or modified by conditions of this consent. Reason: To secure the proper planning of the historic environment in accordance with Development Plan policies.

Prior to the commencement of works, Building Recording activities will be undertaken in respect of the Long Barn. A record to Level 3-4 standard as set out within Historic England document 'Understanding Historic Buildings: A Guide to Good Recording Practice' will be produced and submitted to the LPA in advance of any works commencing on the Long Barn. Reason: To safeguard the special architectural or historic interest of the listed building in accordance with Policy ENV7 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2035.

Prior to the commencement of any works to the Long Barn, a full structural report alongside detailed design proposals for repair and alteration will be submitted to the LPA and approved in writing. Reason: To safeguard the special architectural or historic interest of the listed building in accordance with Policy ENV7 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2035.

Details, including drawings as necessary, in respect of the following, shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before the relevant part of the work has begun: a. Specifications for all upgrades or alterations to the flooring, walls and roof of the building/s b. Detailed specifications of all new doors and windows. Thereafter the works shall be carried out in accordance with the approved details. Reason: To safeguard the special architectural or historic interest of the listed building in accordance with Policy ENV7 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2035.

Following the removal of all modern finishes to the Main Barn, a full structural assessment will be undertaken and the full structural report together with detailed design proposals for this building's repair and extension will be submitted to the Local Planning Authority and approved in writing prior to the commencement of those works. Reason: To safeguard the special architectural or historic interest of the listed building in accordance with Policy ENV7 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2035.
