Conditions / Refusal Reasons
The works hereby permitted shall be begun not later than three years from the date of this consent. Reason: To comply with the provisions of section 18(1) of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 as amended by section 51 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004.

That the works hereby approved shall be carried out in accordance with the details shown on the approved plans listed on the drawing issue sheet 228_SHC_REV 23_06_21_except as controlled or modified by conditions of this permission. Reason: To secure the proper planning of the historic environment in accordance with Development Plan policies.

Prior to the commencement of the relevant works, the following details shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority: 1. Details of all structural works suggested by the structural engineer (to include drawings and detailed proposals) 2. Report for proposed paint analysis and proposals for new paint schemes 3. Method statement for wallpaper/painted decoration conservation 4. Method statement for conservation of historic floor finishes (hallway) 5. Cross section of joinery for all new windows and doors 6. Samples of the new leaded glazing to the chapel wing 7. Submission of specifications of materials associated with any works of repair or making good (plaster, and mortar specifications) 8. Details (including cross sections) of any replacement cornices and doorcases. 9. Details of the lime wash colour for the exterior of Chapel wing. 10. Samples of replacement stone 11. Details of the stone cleaning method following inspection of a sample area 12. Joinery for new staircase Reason: To safeguard the special architectural or historic interest of the listed building in accordance with Policy ENV7 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2035.
