Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 1st May 2019
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the application site is located outside of the built up area of Pyrton and the provision of independent staff accommodation in this location would represent new residential accommodation in the countryside and is unacceptable in principle. Furthermore, the scale, bulk and domestic design and appearance of the proposed structure would be incongruent with the rural parkland character of the site and its wider setting. Therefore, the proposed development is contrary to Policies CSS1, CSQ3, and CSR1 of the South Oxfordshire Core Strategy 2027, Policies D1, G2, G4, and H4 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011, Policy D1 of the Pyrton Neighbourhood Plan and guidance contained within the National Planning Policy Framework.
