Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 22nd March 2016
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
Having regard to the level of development proposed on the site, including the extent of parking space required to serve the development, the proposal would result in a cramped form of development, at odds with the generally spacious character of the village. The proposal would consolidate the level of built development within this part of the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and would detract from the character and appearance of the site and the surrounding area, contrary to policies G2, D1 and H4 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 and policies CSEN1 and CSQ3 of the South Oxfordshire Core Strategy.
