That the proposed extension, by reason of its size, position and appearance would result in an incongruous form of development that would be out of keeping with the design of the original house, would disrupt the harmony of the two pairs of semi detached dwellings and would erode the gap between Nos. 3 and 4 Horseshoes Place, giving rise to a potential terracing effect. Consequently, the extension would be harmful to the character and appearance of the original house and the street scene and would be contrary to the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 Policies G2, G6 and H13 and Section 4.6 of the South Oxfordshire Design Guide.
