Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of three years from the date of this consent.
Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 as amended by section 51 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004.
That before any work is undertaken in pursuance of this consent, such steps shall be taken and such works shall be carried out to secure the safety and stability of the building during the alterations, and to provide protection for the building against the weather during the progress of the works.
Reason: To secure the safety and protection of the listed building in accordance with Policy CON3 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan and Planning Policy Guidance Note 15.
Thatching shall be carried out in combed wheat reed with a turnover flush ridge.
Reason: In order to safeguard the special architectural and historic interest of the building in the Statutory List in accordance with Policy CON3 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 and Planning Policy Guidance Note 15.
Any additional roof timbers to be of oak to match the original.
