Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 24th April 2006
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the proposal fails to provide for any off street parking to serve the two new dwellings and would therefore exacerbate the existing intense traffic and parking congestion in Greys Hill. In this way the proposal would be contrary to policies D2 and T2 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.
That having regard to the size and bulk of the new dwellings, the proposal would constitute an overdevelopment of the site that would appear out of keeping with its surroundings, result in poor levels of amenity provision for the future occupiers of the new dwellings and result in increased overlooking of the garden area of the adjacent property St. Davids. In this way the proposal would be contrary to policies G2, G6, D3 and H4 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 and to advice contained in the South Oxfordshire Design Guide.
