Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 1st November 2005
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That, having regard to the relationship of the site to its surroundings, the proposal represents a cramped and inappropriate form of development which would detract from the character appearance and setting of the locality and the visual amenity of the street scene, contrary to Policy H4 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That, having regard to the lack of articulation between the existing terrace and the extension and to the inappropriate details of design, the development would detract from the character and appearance of the existing building and the visual amenity of the locality, contrary to Policy H4 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan, and the approved South Oxfordshire Design Guide particularly Section 4.
