Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development must be begun not later than the expiration of five years beginning with the date of this permission and if this condition is not complied with this permission shall lapse.
Reason: By virtue of Sections 91 to 95 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.
That the materials to be used for the external walls shall be of the same colour, type and texture as those used on the existing building.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the development are satisfactory in accordance with Policy G8 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That samples of the materials to be used for the roofs shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before any development commences.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the development are satisfactory in accordance with Policy G8 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That the bathroom and temple windows in the northeast elevation of the extension hereby permitted shall be glazed in obscure glass and be so designed to have limited opening. A detailed specification of the opening mechanism for these windows shall be submitted to and agreed in writing with the Local Planning Authority prior to the commencement of development. The details of the windows as agreed shall be implemented prior to the first occupation of the accommodation and shall thereafter be retained as such.
Reason: To ensure that the development is not unneighbourly in accordance with Policy H12 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That the high level bathroom window in the southwest elevation of the extension hereby permitted shall be glazed in obscure glass prior to the first occupation of the accommodation and shall thereafter be retained as such.
Reason: To ensure that the development is not unneighbourly and in accordance with Policy H12 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That notwithstanding the provisions of Article 3 of, and Class A of Part 1 of Schedule 2 to the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 1995 (or any order revoking or re-enacting that Order), no additional windows to those shown in all the elevations and roof spaces of the dwelling house as extended shall be inserted unless planning permission has first been granted by the Local Planning Authority on a formal application in respect thereof.
Reason: To ensure that the development is not unneighbourly and in accordance with Policy H12 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That development shall not begin until a detailed plan showing provision for the parking and turning of three motor vehicles within the curtilage of the property has been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority and the details as approved shall be implemented before the first use of the building as extended and thereafter retained and maintained available for the parking of motor vehicles.
Reason: In the interests of highway safety and convenience in accordance with Policy G11 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
