That in the opinion of the Local Planning Authority the proposed development would result in the loss of trees that are the subject of a tree preservation order and threaten the health and longevity of other trees on the site that are also the subject of a tree preservation order. Furthermore the erection of a dwelling in close proximity to the trees could result in pressure to remove trees in the future in order to provide the new dwelling with adequate amenity space. It is considered that the loss of the trees would be seriously detrimental to the character and appearance of the area. As such the development would be contrary to the provisions of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan, particularly policies G1, G8, C2, C17 and H4 and the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 (Second Deposit) Draft, particularly policies G2, G6, C2, H4 and C10.
