Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 26th July 2005
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That having regard to its position adjacent to a busy junction, the lack of manoeuvring space within the site and the limited visibility as a result of the adjacent lay-by, the proposed access would lead to vehicles reversing out of the access onto the highway causing inconvenience and danger to users of the access and other users of the public highway. As such the development is contrary to the provisions of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan, particuarly policies G1 and G10 and the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011, 2nd deposit draft, particularly policies G2 and T1.
