Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of five years from the date of this consent.
Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990.
That before any work is undertaken in pursuance of this consent, such steps shall be taken and such works shall be carried out to secure the safety and stability of the building during the alterations, and to provide protection for the building against the weather during the progress of the works.
Reason: To secure the safety and protection of the listed building in accordance with Policy CON1 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That samples of all materials to be used in the external construction and finishes of the works hereby permitted shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before the work is commenced.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory in accordance with Policy CON6 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That a sample panel showing the proposed mortar pointing and brick bond for the proposed extension shall be erected on site and the details approved prior to the commencement of any other works to which this consent relates.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory in accordance with Policy CON6 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That details of the new staircase balustrade and staircase to the attic, the removal and replacement of the feeding racks in the stables, a scheme for the fireplace re-instatement in the living room, details of the screen in the stables and retention of the stone setts and paviors on site, shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority prior to the commencement of any works. Where appropriate, the scheme shall include drawings at a scale of 1:20.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory in accordance with Policy CON6 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That works shall not begin until a detailed specification of the type, design and external finish of all windows and external doors has been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory in accordance with Policy CON6 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
