That the proposals are contrary to policies H12 and G8 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan, to policies H13 and G6 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 (First Deposit Draft) and to the Council's Design Guide. Having regard to the excessive size and unsatisfactory form of extensions, the proposal would result in a form of development that would be out of keeping with adjoining dwellings and would significantly detract from the rural character of the area.
That the proposals are contrary to policy G8 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan, to policies G6 and D2 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 (First Deposit Draft) and to the Council's Design Guide. The proposal to erect the garage/store in the front garden area would result in a prominent and intrusive form of development that would detract from the rural character of the area.
