Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development must be begun not later than the expiration of five years beginning with the date of this permission and if this condition is not complied with this permission shall lapse.
Reason: By virtue of Sections 91 to 95 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.
That the thatched roof of the building shall be thatched using combed wheat reed/long straw, and shall be finished with a plain, flush ridge.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the development are satisfactory in accordance with
Policy CON10 of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That the walls shall be constructed using oak, the surface treatment of which shall first have been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority or as otherwise agreed in writing with the Local Planning Authority.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the development are satisfactory in accordance with
Policy CON10 of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That the building hereby permitted shall be used for garaging and storage in connection with 'The Chequers', as specified in the application, and shall not be used for any other purpose without the prior grant of planning permission from the Local Planning Authority.
Reason: To protect the amenity of the area in accordance with Policies G11 and G7 of the
Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
