That the proposal would be contrary to policies G1, G8 and H4 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan and advice given in the South Oxfordshire Design Guide.  It is considered that the design and detailing of the proposed dwelling is poor, inappropriate and out of keeping with surrounding development and that having regard to the bulk of the proposed dwelling, it would appear cramped and out of character in the street scene.
