Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development must be begun not later than the expiration of five years beginning with the date of this permission and if this condition is not complied with this permission shall lapse.
Reason: By virtue of Sections 91 to 95 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.
That the materials to be used for the external walls, new roof and dormers shall be of the same colour, type and texture as those used on the existing building unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Local Planning Authority.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the development are satisfactory in accordance with
policies C2 and H12 of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That the bathroom window in the south-west (rear) elevation of the extension hereby permitted shall be glazed in obscure glass prior to first occupation of the premises and shall thereafter be retained as such.
Reason: To ensure that the development is not unneighbourly in accordance with
policy H12 of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That the rooflight hereby permitted in the south-west (rear) elevation shall be installed such that it has a minimum cill height of 1.8m above finished floor level.
Reason: To ensure that the development is not unneighbourly in accordance with
policy H12 of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That notwithstanding the provisions of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 1995 (or any order revoking and re-enacting that Order) no windows shall be constructed in the south-east (side), south-west (rear) or north-west (side) elevations of the roofslopes other than those expressly authorised by this permission.
Reason: To ensure that the development is not unneighbourly in accordance with
policy H12 of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That development shall not commence until a detailed specification of the type, design and finish of the rooflight has been submitted to and aprpoved in writing by the Local Planning Authority.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the development are satisfactory in accordance with
policies C2 and H12 of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
